13 service members killed in Kabul attack honored with the Congressional Gold Medal

Image
The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to posthumously award the Congressional Gold Medal to the 13 American service members killed in a bomb attack in Kabul this summer. The August attack was one of the deadliest days for American forces in the past decade of the 20-year war in Afghanistan — and took place just days ahead of the U.S.’s planned full withdrawal from the country that had been overtaken days earlier by the Taliban. The bill to honor the fallen service members was introduced by Michigan Republican Rep. Lisa McClain and was co-sponsored by a bipartisan group of more than 300 representatives. President Biden has called the Americans who lost their lives in the bombing “heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our highest American ideals and while saving the lives of others.” “Their bravery and selflessness has enabled more than 117,000 people at risk to reach safety thus far,” Biden said in a statement shortly after the attack. “May God protect ou...

An Emirates airline flight from India to Dubai crash-landed at Dubai’s main airport Wednesday, and all 300 people onboard survived, the airline said. One firefighter was killed while responding to accident, the airline’s chairman and CEO said. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum also said 10 people were hospitalized after the incident at Dubai International Airport. The 282 passengers and 18 crew members were safe and accounted for after the accident, Emirates said, while providing no details about what happened. There were reports of wind shear, or sudden downdraft, at the airport as the aircraft made its descent, but it was unclear if that  had any effect on what happened, the airline CEO later said. Dubai-based Emirates, the Mideast’s biggest airline, said the crash-landing happened at 12:45 p.m. local time as Flight EK521 was arriving from the southern Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram. Paid Participants Reportedly Involved in Anti-ICE Protests

Image
California Firm Describes Signs of Paid Protesters in Anti-ICE Unrest Amid escalating tensions regarding the individuals responsible for the violent anti-ICE protests, a California-based firm that specializes in providing on-demand protest crowds asserts that there are methods to differentiate between hired demonstrators and genuine participants. “We receive inquiries about nearly every significant social cause conceivable, and the anti-ICE protests are no exception,” stated Adam Swart, the CEO and founder of Crowds on Demand, in an interview with Fox News Digital. “The mere fact that we receive requests does not imply that we accept them, in many instances, because the budget does not align with the ambition.” Swart further informed the outlet that his company has received “numerous high-budget requests” concerning the anti-ICE protests, but those proposals were turned down due to the fact that “they do not wish to engage in any form of illegal activity, including violence, vand...

BREAKING NEWS confirms that the Earth will begin to…

Image
It has been officially designated 52768 (1998 OR2) and will cross Earth’s orbit without any real danger of impact. In the remote event of impact with planet Earth, studies show that it could almost completely destroy it.A 23-year-old student discovers 17 planets, one similar to Earth. NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies has recently detected an unusually large asteroid that is expected to orbit Earth in April of this year. Its actual size is estimated to be between 1.5 and 4 kilometers in diameter, as indicated on the space agency’s website. It is traveling at a speed of 8.7 kilometers per second and is estimated to approach our planet of this year. Compared to other asteroids, to illustrate the difference, the Chelyabinsk asteroid, which hit Siberia in 2013 and caused nearly 1,500 injuries and extensive destruction to buildings, was about 15 meters wide and 17 meters long. However, the danger of this asteroid, named 52768 (1998 OR2), impacting planet Earth is quite remote...

The pilot’s emotional reaction when he discovered why birds were flying alongside the plane

Image
During a routine flight, Jason was suddenly confronted by a massive flock of birds attacking the aircraft. The birds slammed into the windows, causing chaos and alarming passengers. The noise was deafening, and the scene outside was surreal—dozens of wings flapping aggressively against the plane. Jason, momentarily stunned by the bizarre sight, quickly regained focus. He realized evasive action was necessary but knew every move had to be calculated. With the safety of everyone on board in his hands, panic was not an option. Despite the shock, Jason remained calm. He attempted to maneuver the aircraft away from the birds without destabilizing the flight path. His main concern was the engines—if even one bird got sucked in, it could lead to a catastrophic failure. While navigating the skies, Jason offered reassurance to the crew and passengers. His calm voice over the intercom helped ease some of the fear, even as the aircraft trembled from the repeated strikes. He quietly prayed t...
